Neighbourhood Planning

The Government, under the Localism Act 2012, is encouraging parish and town councils to draw up their own Neighbourhood Planning to set the Town and Country Planning requirements for their area for new housing, commercial and community building. The Government has also given District and Borough Councils funds to assist parish and town councils in drawing up the Neighbourhood Plan.
