Development Viability Studies for Local Authorities
PPS3 acknowledges the importance of considering development economics and in reality requires development viability studies to be undertaken.
Our work in this area has been the subject of scrutiny at a number of local plan enquiries and at public examination (Horsham District Council Core Strategy submission as part of the LDF process).
Through our work we are able to reinforce a Local Authoritys wider policy approach by examining tenure mix, subsidy alternatives (both public and developer led) and the wider planning infrastructure burdens on site(s).
As a market leader in this area of expertise we have developed our own model and methodology and our method of close working with clients ensures a detailed review of affordable housing policy options that ultimately informs their development and final application of policy.
