• Experience at all levels of working in partnership with staff, members, tenants, stakeholders and key members of the local community.
• Providing audit health-checks to ensure HC compliance, inc for Challenge funding and partner funding
• Assisting with asset management, devising strategies, stock condition survey briefs, Decent Homes, and planned maintenance programmes
• Expertise in HQIs and EcoHomes plus Smart housing

Today's social housing developers must be prepared to provide solutions which are demonstrably part of an overall local and regional strategy for sustainable quality housing. Adams Integra has the experience of designing and developing a wide range of housing solutions from new build to refurbishment, from regeneration to rural housing and general family to special needs housing, to various forms of home-ownership, including shared and fixed equity.
We have experience of providing development agency solutions customised to meet your particular needs.
We can help you develop model arrangements for partnerships or partnering. We can advise your organisation on applying for and implementing the Client Charter action plan, developing a sustainable development strategy, Housing Quality Indicators, KPI’s, and EcoHomes.
Working with your development team
We provide long or short-term cover for your senior development staff on a locum or agency basis. We are experienced in providing strategic or individual project management. We can help you to develop partnerships, provide expert assistance to compile bids and submissions for funding projects, or strategic and practical advice on the development procedures.
Providing the Framework
We are well versed in ensuring the right organisational methods are applied to your requirements, particularly in liaison with the Housing Corporation, local authorities, your funders and other key housing bodies.
We can help you provide housing development procedures, policies and agreements, Egan/Clients Charter, advise on risk assessment and management, procurement inc tendering, negotiation and partnership principles, sustainability policies.
We are able to provide training and guidance for staff, tenants and members.
Business Development
We work with organisations to closely examine development and business opportunities. We are working with a number of housing associations that wish to increase the geographic scope of their development portfolio.
Our consultants have experience of working with local authorities, LSVT housing associations, housing trusts and traditional RSLs.
Negotiating Projects
Section 106 opportunities.
We have successfully negotiated with local authorities the provision of exception policy sites. Adams Integra were involved in the largest PPG3 site in England, which provided 120 new homes.
To assist with exception planning sites we have put in place arrangements with national and regional developers to carry out their obligations under Section 106 agreements.
Project Appraisal & Project Management
We are qualified and experienced in the field of scheme development, technical advice, architecture, planning, types of procurement, methods of construction/fabrication, design, crime and disorder considerations. We can provide development feasibility studies and development plan policies to complement your housing strategies. We are also very active in providing a wide variety of briefing packages for housing organisations, complementary to stock business and development.
Health checks for compliance assurance
We ensure that at all stages of the development process there is the appropriate level of monitoring and management and that continuous risk assessment and controls are in place. We are familiar with the needs of housing associations and the requirements of internal and external audit and monitoring bodies, and offer user-friendly early warning audits to assist in compliance.
