All organisations in receipt of SHG funding (registered providers, ALMOs, private developers) must adopt the Government’s ‘2012 Construction Commitments’ or maintain Construction Clients Charter status.
2012 does not require external accreditation but does need the organisation to demonstrate across a range of activities that it is working towards embedding the 2012 Commitments to good practice in sustainable development and asset management. These include Sustainability, Client Leadership, Design and Health & Safety.
